In other words, it's a chick flick. Starring Darius Lovehall (Larenz Tate) a novelist, who comes off being cocky and full of himself. Then Nina Moseley (Nia Long) a photographer, with feeling all over the place. The movie only relates to one type of relationship as the primary focus. Leaving others to believe that relationships are confusing and seem more complicated.
Therefore making this movie about the up’s and down’s sides of one type of relationship. Darius and Nina display confusion about one another throughout the entire movie, and I was already growing impatient with the relationship. Nina is trying to figure out if she still in love with her ex or Darius. Then Darius is self-doubting himself and not able to admit to his friends that he is in love. Neither one has the courage to tell a friend that they’re in love, instead they say it's not that serious. While listening to bad advice from close friends, who love life is also in shambles. While making the move less interesting, until Nina throw us a curve ball into the mix. Making drop my jaw while saying, “No she did not”. So then, Nina starts playing games with Darius' heart. After all the games she then figures out she doesn't love her ex and tries to come back to Darius. Just to find out he has moved on. But Nina will not stop playing games and decides to date his friend. So this is where the characters become unpredictable. In the end, the movie shows an unexpected ending. Becoming the best part of the movie, that will leave the audience emotionally
