If you knew someone for four days would you have a strong relationship with them. Now what if you knew the person for a very long time now would you have a strong relationship. In the book Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare Romeo falls in love with Juliet. They married without telling their parents (their families hate each other). After they get married after knowing each other for a day Romeo kill her cousin Tybalt because he killed Romeo’s friend Mercutio. Romeo get banished for the town. Juliet’s parents find her a husband with out knowing that she is already married to Romeo. Juliet fakes her death and Romeo not knowing she is not really dead kill himself in front of her and then she does the same. Here is why they are wrong. Some people might say that Romeo and Juliet have a stronger relationship because George killed Lennie. Some may say that George killing Lennie was a bad thing. “Shoot for his guts.” (Steinbeck 97). Lennie would have suffered if George would have not shot Lennie. Finally Some people would say that them willing to kill himself for the other is showing that they love each other. “The hateful mansion. [He draws his dagger.]” (Shakespeare 3.3.117) Romeo would take his life and leave Juliet with sadness. These points show that Romeo and Juliet don't have a stronger relationship than George and Lennie.
To sum things up George and Lennie have a stronger relationship than Romeo and Juliet because they are loyal and trustworthy and they care for each other. Just because you think you love someone does not mean you have a strong relationship because you have to care for each other, you have to trust each other and you have to be loyal to that person.
