In the love story of Romeo and Juliet by William shakespeare, two soulmates forbidden love causes them to take their own lives. The father of Juliet, Lord Capulet, seems a powerful man, who follows the family tradition of despising all Montagues. However, throughout the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet, Lord Capulet’s authoritative and hateful persona evolves into that of a loving and forgiving man. This change shows through in the first fight scene between the Montagues and the Capulets, during the fight between him and Juliet about the wedding, and the suicide of Juliet and Romeo.…

The nurse has been with Juliet since her birth and can go on and on recounting a hysterical, invaluable story which she will never forget: “I warrant, an I should live a thousand years, / I never should forget” (1.3.50-51). Meanwhile, Lady Capulet needs to summon the Nurse to know her own daughter’s own age/birthday: “Thou knowest of my daughter’s of a pretty age” (1.3.11) She does not know any details about the life of Juliet as the Nurse was the sole caretaker in Juliet’s childhood. When Lady Capulet approaches Juliet’s chamber, Juliet is caught off guard as this is not a common occurrence: “What unaccustomed cause procures her hither?” (3.5.68) Right after Romeo had left from their honeymoon, Juliet expected Lady Capulet to be elsewhere besides her room which shows how little time…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…
