Stalin was the second leader of the Soviet Union, after Vladimir Lenin. Stalin was consistently acknowledged as an atrocious leader who would get rid of anyone who would prohibit him from doing what he wanted to do. Anyone who refused to cooperate with him was assassinated. Stalin transformed the Soviet Union from a peasant society into an industrial and military superpower.

Napoleon is the dictator of Animal Farm. He became dictator just after the Rebellion. He is very manipulative and fights to get what he wants. Just like Stalin, Napoleon uses brutality in order to maintain his supremacy. On page 61, after snowball was removed from the farm, Napoleon sent his dogs to kill “the traitors who had leagued themselves with snowball.” Another
