The relationship between my family and I growing up, was most often affectionate and supportive. My parents have always been there for me, showing me the ways of life and pushing me to always strive towards my ambitions and goals. This started at a very young age, I showed an interest in bowling when I was 5 years old, I joined a league, and not only were my parents there for every game; my dad actually became my coach and helped me become the best that I could. One of the biggest factors that has influenced my academic success was the opportunity to attend a local private school, Oakhill Day School, from the time I was two years old until I graduated 8th grade. At Oakhill, there were never more than 15 students in my class, which allowed me to create lifelong friendships with my classmates and my teachers. This was an environment where the students greatly respected the teachers, and vice versa. My classmates and I always pushed each other to work hard and that really helped me to achieve my academic goals. The teachers were always more than willing to answer any questions that I had to help me learn the material better and I was also able to work with my teachers one-on-one when I needed it or advance at my own pace.…
