Because Jem spends a large amount of time playing with Dill in the summer although Dill is younger than him by two years. Scout likes Dill enormously and wants to play with him, but Jem and Dill begin hanging out without her. When Jem and Dill play they begin to leave out Scout. Jem and Scout have two totally different views about school. Jem enjoys it and Scout neglects it. Jem gains education from school, but Scout gets punished for her knowledge of writing and reading. Jem says she will start to like it when she enters the sixth grade because she will start to learn new information. Jem is very vigilant and responsible. He is brave and he wishes to be precisely like his father. Jem appreciate what he has, he knows that he has a unique parent just like ,scout, his sister. He is very self aware and smart. He knows when to say something or when to take a step back. He is in control of his actions and he is able to be cool at times, but when he reaches his temper, his emotions backfire and he goes insane. But he trys to face his consequences and stay incontrol. Jem is much more aware of his surroundings he thinks things through. While Scout is a very special little girl, both in her social postion and in even in her own qualities. She is suprisingly intelligent she learned how to read before school. She is Very confident she is able to fight boys without fear . Scout is more adventurous and outgoing. she
