Online education is a necessity for students that work or does not have the luxury of staying on campus in order to complete their degree program. Therefore, it is imperative for students to have a precise curriculum that promotes effective learning online. What if college institutions offered online programs but did not offer effective courses that would promote growth within a student’s degree program? Parents would have every right to be outraged if that was the case. However, most universities are using the Internet to grow the online program that is offered. Many institutions are using it to promote the campus and the activities that are happening on and off campus. Liberty University has exceptional appeal to online students. It feels as if the student is apart of the campus while studying online. Liberty Online Students obtain this feeling by the perception that is presented. Students are thrilled to know the abundance of resources that is available online. Furthermore, if a student needs to speak with an instructor or advisor over the phone or by email, the invitation is presented upfront. This is a precedent of how all college institutions must carry out growth and clarity within the campuses. Furthermore, instructors have the ability to supply students with all of the information needed to successfully complete the desired degree program electronically by using the Internet. Without the Internet, instructors or students would not have the opportunity to develop a healthy relationship that promotes understanding. Imagine not having the Internet and having to mail letters or having to call to arrange a phone consultation with an instructor just because online students can not physically interact with instructors in person. Without the Internet, this would cause unimaginable hindrance upon students.
