Reinhard Heydrich Research Paper

First off, people all over the world were heavily impacted due to the life of Reinhard Heydrich. Even today, there are several aspects of the world that will never be the same because of his life. At a young age, Reinhard Heydrich’s abhorrence towards Jewish people began. Reinhard received incredible backlash from his fellow peers for possibly having Jewish blood, however this was not true and provoked his hatred towards Jews (“Reinhard Heydrich” 1). Heydrich was a sweet child who had a passion in singing, but his family indirectly influenced him to become more violent (“Reinhard Heydrich” 1). Nowadays, Reinhard’s treatment from his parents would be considered child abuse, however this was how his parents chose to raise him. When Reinhard was only the age of 14 he became a member of a Free Corps band where he was taught street fighting and terrorism (Sifakis 1), this lead to Reinhard idolizing older members of the band and becoming a perpetrator. …show more content…
Then, Reinhard joined the Nazi Party and became a member of the Shutzstaffeln where he served as one of Hitler’s bodyguards, and his boss, Heinrich Himmler, was impressed with his work (“Reinhard Heydrich” 1). The Nazi Party consisted of a multitude of perpetrators in the Holocaust, the Nazis themselves provoked all of the immoral acts on the Jewish population. However, the Nazis had to get orders from someone, and Reinhard Heydrich was that someone. After attaining management of the German police forces, the SS, and the Gestapo Heydrich, alongside Himmler, had full control of anyone who refused to comply with him (“Reinhard Heydrich” 2). Once someone gets power they seek even more, and that is precisely what Heydrich wanted. More
