To me, being a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist involves far more than a job or even a career. This profession is an adventure during which to learn new things every day, as well as treat those who have problems in their sleep. Indeed, sleep disorders can cause mental, physical, and emotional problems. Changing the lives of others with sleep disorders means much to me. I want to strive to help individuals who encounter sleep problems by providing them with ways to improve their sleep. One person who always gets me going toward my degree as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist is my grandma. She has problems in her sleep, and doctors tell her that they will go away over time. These problems have been with her for quite some time,
