Registered Nurses: A Career As A Nurse

"Nearly 3 million registered nurses work in the United States, Ninety-five percent of these nurses are women" (The nursing workforce). It was surprising to see how many nurses there is among each hospital and how many of them are women being that this field is also meant for males. Working conditions can go from feeding a patient to helping him/her bathe (healthcareers.com). Working as a nurse is hard work since in my opinion standing or walking is what you mostly do. Some of the working conditions are harsh for example leafing heavy objects needed and sometimes handling the full body of the patient when needed (healthcareers.com). Other conditions could be working with patients that may have infectious diseases and could be transmitted, nurses
