“ Save one life you're a hero. Save hundred of lives you are a Nurse”( Chamberlain edu ). A registered nurse sees patients all day and they do there best to provide care for the ill and the injured. Being a registered nurse isn't easy , a registered nurse has to be able to handle hard working conditions, and must have strong communication skills . The career of a registered nurse requires critical thinking skill , and values but overall it requires dedication and passion.
In the medical industry Registered nurse are in a very high demand in Arizona the 10 year growth rate is about “ 25.6 percent and about 48,658 employment available”. Overall all annually there is about” 2,190 openings” . The outlook of a registered …show more content…
There are many degrees available in this career , in this case Registered Nurses typically need to have a “ Bachelor's degree in Nursing”. Typically a bachelor's degree take up to four to six years and an associate's takes about two years. In other articles it stated that minimally Registered nurses needed a “ Associate's degree. Before entering a nursing program you would want to enter with a high gpa .But nowadays nurses need at least a BSN to get a job in a hospital or specialty . RN usually have to take courses , which partially concentrates on the human body and diseases. Being able to learn about the body and how to prevent diseases can be an amazing experience. Having that ability to help save someone's life is a great feeling. Education for a Registered nurse can be expensive and the average cost is about “15,052 or even more “ depending on the college. Once completing a registered nurse program you're required to take a “ NCLEX exam “ which covers how to work in a safe environment , physiology and even more. The exam stands for National council Licensure examination.With additional education registered nurses would be able to work as “ Nurse anesthetics , practitioners and even nurse midwives”.
