Registered Nurse Essay

From the years 2014 to 2024 the population of registered nurses employments have been increasing of about 16%. More and more people are getting sick everyday, so more health care needs to be provided. Registered nurses ( RN’s) work with doctors and specialist. They can be able to work in hospitals, physician's offices, schools, nursing care facilities, home health care services, or serve in the military. Being a RN isn’t too easy. You have to be able to work very well with the patients and understand them. You need to be able to control your emotions and work every well with the patients. Nurses have to be very clean in order to care for a patient. You will come in contact with many diseases that you have to be protected from. Following the safety rules are important. It is expected to be walking, bending and standing while at work. This must be much more necessary if you are working in a hospital. There are many patients that will need to be cared for as soon as they can. You really need to be active during work hours. Your work environment needs to very clean. Receiving your BSN may take up to 4 years to complete. An ADN and diploma only take about 3 years to complete. An RN has to be licensed in order to start their professional work.
