Registered Nurse Disadvantages

As a young girl my interest in a healthcare career started when my grandfather had to depend on others because he had suffered a stroke. Afterwards I decided I wanted to help others. Seeking a career as a registered nurse, a person should carefully look at the responsibilities it comes with, skills needed, work conditions, salary, and the future outlook; however, also as important is the best training which is at The University of Texas at Brownsville. Registered Nurses have a variety of duties and responsibilities. These responsibilities include supervising workers like LPNs or nurse aides. Nurses are able to work in a variety of jobs. For example, they can care of the newborn or the elderly. The medical field usually pays well. (Tran, 1) The University of Texas at Brownsville has its advantages and disadvantages as well. Some of the advantages are the school is relatively safe, there is transportation that takes students to other buildings, and their health department assists student with no charge at all times. The disadvantages are their parking is not the best. It’s hard to find a parking spot in the Brownsville area. The climate is really hot and apparently, the parking permit is expensive. ( University, 3-4) According to my research I believe this career is well suited for me. I can adapt to the long hours of work. I will be well prepared to care for others. I still plan on attending the University of Texas at Brownsville. When I researched its positive and negative aspects, they weren’t bad, and the best thing is: it is a safe school. The disadvantages listed above don’t affect my career. As soon as I graduate from high school, I will start at UTRGV Brownsville to get ready for my nursing
