Regina Lorenzo was born May 12th, 1959 who is now 56 years old. Regina was born in South Euclid. Regina was one of three children. Regina attended a school that had many of the same social groups. At her school you could tell which group they were from. One way that the school differed was the students didn’t strive to be the best. Students focused more on helping their families. People always had school as a low priority. There were no real honors classes so all were in the same class no matter how intelligent they were. In Regina’s society they were more focused on working, then going to college. Regina struggled at the age of fourteen because her father had passed away at a very young age. When Regina was attending college there was the KSU protesting against the Cambodian Campaign that had been proposed by President Richard Nixon. Regina still to this day remembers the death of the four students in the tragic shooting in 1969. Regina can recall all of the protesting that took place as a result of attending KSU. Regina has a cousin named Marsha Poolster whose husband was a doctor serving in the war. Marsha worried every day because she would always have fear about her husband becoming part of the war. Another major event that took place was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy which had occurred on November 22nd 1963. Regina was only four, so she struggles to remember the details. Regina had watched the funeral with her family. All that Regina could remember is the country distraught and numb. Regina can also recall 9/11 when the World Trade Center was attacked. Regina was working at the title company when news broke about the attack. Regina called both of her older children immediately. This attacks affected Regina because now there is a nationwide fear that another attack was going to
