I have always been told that I was the rock in the storm, and the unstoppable force. Perhaps, through self-reflection, I can learn the dynamics of my teams and push through to a new level of synergy and social awareness. Through purposeful action and well thought out intent I can capitalize on those who differ from me, while still accomplishing the mission. If I can adopt this capability and excel at it, I can better empower subordinates who aren’t likeminded in their leadership style and conflict management style. I can help them become the leader they strive to be, without unintentionally muting them with my myopic approach to leadership. With reflective thinking, I can fit in better with my peers, while preventing myself from becoming a hoarder of duties and responsibilities. While learning how to trust my peers more, and entrust them the likelihood of the things I have come to know as important.
