The mission statement of the hospital is, "To improve the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve while providing exceptional and compassionate care." She said she was just making sure the payroll was good for the week and then would call people if they hadn’t done it correctly. During the morning the explained the it was going to be an eventful day. She told me about a reprimand that needed to happen later in the day. This was an example of a problem/solving situation but extended throughout the day. She went into further detail and handed me an email that was given to her supervisor. In "The Maker's Eye: Reviewing your own Manuscript" by Donald M. Murray, managed to capture what happens in any review process. He emphasizes the importance of rereading and then rewriting his work until it is at its peak; Above all, Murray says that the first draft is nothing more than a sketch. I think the purpose of this essay is to inform both students and professional writers about the importance of personal review because no one is more critical than the creator. Introduction Definitions of intelligence vary among scholars, theorists, and laypersons, due to its multidimensionality. However, intelligence typically involves an individual’s ability to learn from experience and adapt to the environment in which they live. Dr. Johnson gave me a bag full of prescriptions and I used the Drug ID function on my Lexi-Comp to identify each vial. Close to the end of my shift, a nurse approached the pharmacy asking us to do a medication reconciliation on a patient who had recently been admitted to the floor. This had been his second time being admitted to the hospital in the last week so he was no stranger to the floor. Dr. Johnson explained to me that since he was a recent admit, she could print his past medication list from his last visit and we could use that as a guide for our reconciliation. When we entered the room, the patient seemed lethargic and confused, after introducing ourselves, I began the reconciliation process.…
