Competencies are general descriptions of the abilities needed to perform a role in the organization. It is also the ability to do something well by utilizing the ability acquired through experience or training. I demonstrated competency when I use my practical knowledge of what I have learned in the clinical practice 220 and 320.
I was able to collect date for residents, demonstrated head to toe assessment, perform nursing skills independently. I was report and document resident’s abnormal condition. I was administered medications safely.

I learned more about the therapeutic relationship with patient. Positive facial and body gestures such as smiles, gentle touches will tell my patient how much I care. When I am in the floor, I did connect
