I think John Jay should make us take this course because English class is one of the most important thing in a student's academic career. We have to make sure everyone in college are able to write a paper before they graduate. Most classes in college, don't really require the students to know how to write a essay. So I feel that taking an English course is very important. In order to pass this class, I must secure and obtain the skills I require to do so. English class is like an endless path. The path I am taking should explain to me every step I need to take. There will always more and more I can and need to learn. I have to devote an abundant amount of time for my studies in order for me to consume everything I learned. Throughout my ENG101 class, I have learned a lot more about writing.
