I had previously been attending Huntington University, a Christian college in Indiana, for the past three years. I originally went there as a film major, but eventually switched to broadcasting. It was there that I found my passion for producing. I was blessed with many opportunities to learn and practice producing. I met so many wonderful people, and was able to learn in grow as an individual.
Like many college students, I have to work in order to pay for schooling. I had a hard time juggling school, work, and my friends. At the time, it was really hard to make this decision. I am not a fan of change, and did not want to disappoint my friends, family, and professors. Once I officially transferred, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Not only am I saving thousands of dollars, but I am better able to balance and manage my time. I was constantly anxious and stressed out before, but now I feel like I can do all of the things I want to or need to.
It is situations like this that I am amazed at how well God knows me and how my mind works. When it comes to many big decisions in my life, God sort of eases me into it (even if I don’t realize it at the time). It is kind of hard to explain in such a short paper, so I apologize if this sounds crazy. When I think about doing something important or life-changing, I consider it for a long time (in the case of HU to CCU, I thought about it for months). During that time, there are a series of decisions or events that slowly lead to the final decision. God lines up the support
I need before I catapult myself from state to state. I may feel like I am jumping out of a plane without a parachute, but that is never the case.
