Reflective Essay: The Effect Of Leadership Style On A Group

Group lookup and follow their leader, therefore a leadership style heavily effects a group. If a leaders has a command and control styles leadership which is common it is likely that the group dynamic might be firm, robot like and focused on the goal like the leader. Whatever the leadership style is of the group it is likely that that is the way the other group members will use as a benchmark in participating in the group. The leadership styles affect cohesion because the leadership styles sets the tone of the group. In the command and control leadership group members might act as foot soldiers while the leader acts as a general. The cohesion would be very strong and respectable.

I am a natural born leader, I have lead hundreds of people in combat and in community like environment.
