Reflective Essay On Requisite Leadership

When Stutson passed the mantle sort of fell in my lap because my other two brothers were either not ready or too shy at the time to take the lead. So I did. Once we begin to open up to each other I learned that there was dissatisfaction with the distribution of lead parts. I was shattered. Withdrawn at first, I had to come to terms with the feelings my brother’s shared. I examined all of the songs and contemplated which lead parts to dev up or let go altogether. It wasn’t easy making the transition from these other leadership types to taking on a more Reserved Leadership type role. I was still leading the group (on the playground), but I placed more emphasis on being part of the team rather than leading the team.

From this point on, I learned to measure my words. I became more reclusive which allowed me to become more analytical and observant as a person. I begin to sharpen my listening skills. I begin to question what I’d believed and been taught all these years. I needed to draw my own conclusions now.

They have the ability to stop the flow of action or generate the flow of action. Kindred spirit with the Remote Leader, the Requisite Leader, while the Remote leader will at least try and get you to tune into their channel, isn’t interested in teaching, training, and trusting others with much responsibility let alone the same level of responsibility they’ve retained. Out of fear that somebody else may do the job better or no one else can do the job better they become indispensable, palpable, and meddlesome. They don’t just hold the remote and want to control the remote, they hide it and lock it
