The Boss Working within an organization regardless of the job there will be a manager that oversees the department. Within the relationship between an employee and manager it is important that involves sincerity and communication. However, the relationship cannot solely depend on those aspects. You own 50% of your relationship with your manager. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the employee to hold up the end of the relationship. If you want the manager to view you in a specific way, employees need to look and act the part. Within this section I learned that the manager can either bring much success or failure towards your career, and maintaining a positive attitude and controlling your behavior is essential for longevity within a company.

Controlling your behavior is easier to say than to do, behavior does not mean having a depraved attitude. An organization that hires both male and female, should expect philandering to transpire. Within this section I learned that individuals that have a fear of failure believe that failing at one thing will start a domino effect in their life. However, if you have the fear of failure from the start, then you have already failed. For instance, if you wake up with the mind set of failing to deliver a presentation successfully or passing a test, you have already failed. On the other hand, if as a professional you keep a positive mind and set reasonable goals, the work will pay off. It is also important to prepare; meaning if you have a fear of presenting presentations then it is imperative to review the information in advance so when the presentation occurs, you are confident with the information you are
