It seems that much of L.’s strength in writing rests in her feelings about writing. She feels that through writing she can create anything and that she others enjoy listening to and/or reading her writing pieces. Her courage to write about anything and persistence in working on her journal, from start to finish, without stopping reveals her depth of focus and vision of what a complete piece of writing should look like. I know this because I watched her work I could see her reread what she had written, multiple times, and add details until she seemed satisfied that she had completely explained her topic.
