Turning Point In High School

Being called up to the counselor’s office in seventh grade was the biggest turning point in my life. It wasn’t actually being called up to the office that was my turning point, it was what I was called up for; suicide. I never did like being called up to anywhere without knowing what it was for. I was always a good student and anytime the teacher said I had to go to the lobby or house office it was to pick up a pass or something. That was, until the middle of April 2013, block 3.
I remember almost everything that happened that day and the following days as well. It was a C-day and I was in access-also known as study hall in high school-and I was doing my homework as I usually do every other access. My access teacher was wearing the brightest

Then she asked me other questions such as how are your grades, any problems at home, do you have thoughts of suicide etc. I answered all the questions with honesty and tried to keep clam as best as I could; which did not happen. After interrogating me for 40 minutes she said “ I’m going to leave your parents a message, if you ever need me I will always be there for you, I have helped many students ok? my name is ____ , do you think you’ll remember that?” I said yes but I was thinking in my head “I’ll probably never need you because I’m not suicidal.” By the time I had to leave the office access had already ended so she gave me a pass for english. I couldn’t focus on anything in that class, all I was thinking was “How am I going to get out of this??” and “Why did my friends report me I didn’t show any signs of wanting to commit suicide??” Then I realized it was because of two weeks
