Light As A Future Music Educator

Light is more than a mere abstract entity that our eyes perceive. It is radiant energy that activates areas of our mind that work to perceive what is actually there in existence. Light represents the truth of what lies in the darkness and a hope for what awaits us in the future. In my life, it represents a passion and outlook towards brighter opportunities and improved education for the youth of America. The light of a brighter future is representative of the right to equal opportunity regardless of race, geographical location, socioeconomic status, and other personable factors. As a student, I am looking to become a better learner so I can become a phenomenal teacher in the future. The requirements of my program are exactly what I am looking for in order to achieve my goal. I want to learn as much as I can, not only in my major field of music, but in every field of study from math to philosophy. As well as fulfilling a language proficiency requirement that will aid me in helping the student whose first language was Spanish. Accomplishing my program requirements will allow me to better aid my future students in whatever they need. In college, I will uphold a GPA of 3.5 or above in order to ensure that I know the material from my classes well.
