I think for me, I really enjoyed how much fun some of the people had with their speeches. You could tell that they were enjoying themselves while they were in front of the class, even though they were a bit nervous at the same time. It made it enjoyable to watch, and actually pulled you in verses the ones where people just stood up there just talking or reading off of a piece of paper. I enjoyed watching the emotions that people had, and I think that is also something that I would have been a benefit to my speeches. Not to say that I didn’t enjoy the things I talked about, but I feel as though I lacked some of the emotion that others had. I was more so of the stick to the basic of things. I preferred to just go and get it done and over with. Once it was done, my anxiety level dropped drastically. I almost felt a sense of relief and comfort when I was finally able to go back to me seat. I think that is a normal feeling for most people, the only thing then to wait for is your grade, and that for some reason I wasn’t as anxious about. I knew that I was done, and that I did the best that I could do (excluding the last speech, where I know I could have improved) and that hopefully that was apparent when I was standing in the front of the class. I think the other reason for the feeling of relief was that no longer was everyone’s (for the most part) eyes on me. There was no more focus just on me, and that was the most comforting feeling. I think we all just need to find what works for us, what works for one person clearly may not for the next. I was nice to be able to see others and pick up on some techniques that they used, but when it comes down to it, we have to stick with what we are comfortable with. I know that there were some things that worked for others that I could not do, just because they would put me out of my comfort zone. In the end however, it was nice to see how people did things, so that you could maybe use parts of it, and put your own spin on
