He had to move to the city for work and with my continual search for a nursing job, we thought it would be a great idea for me to be living in an area where there are so many opportunities right at our doorstep. I didn’t know of anyone who had enrolled in the RN to BSN program prior to me, so I didn’t have even the slightest idea what I was getting myself into. I am however not very sure that any tips or advice would have been able to prepare me very much for everything I have encountered throughout my time with UA. I have overcome more challenges and obstacles then I could have ever imagined possible within such a short period of time. The program has allowed me to dive deeper into areas of nursing that I had never studied or was barely introduced to before. From getting involved with the community, reaching out to different individuals about complementary and alternative therapies, the importance of taking care of yourself as not only a nurse but a person, along with identifying and speaking up about the issues nurses regularly encounter, I have learned about and experienced so many opportunities that I would have never sought out on my own. I can already see how I have grown and changed my outlook on various topics in my personal and professional life due to the knowledge and information I have gained throughout this last
