At that time, my eyes were red like a vampire. My teeth were clinched like chains stuck together. My face was red like a tomato and there was steam coming out my ears. My hands were tight like they were tangled around a rope. I just can’t believe there was no person I was comfortable with. They had the jocks, the bookworms, the game geeks, and the princesses of the castle. I didn’t fit in any of those categories. I just kept asking myself why I didn’t have any friends to hang out with. This time all hope was lost. Whether it was horrible or delightful, I was ready to accept anything that would backfire me. In Rolling Meadows High School, I finally reunited with my friend I knew when I was five years old. With that in mind, I actually met a couple of people who I knew I could trust and can make true memories with. At that point, I just realized that I made a ton of friends in high school. My eyes were light blue like a kitten. My teeth were sparkling white like a dove. My cheeks were pink like a flamingo. People in the hallways were wondering why I was smiling so much and if I take a gallon of sugar everyday. In that perspective, I knew that the reason was because I made true friends and I have entered the stage of where I’m free to express myself. With that freedom, I was able to do better in high school than in middle school. I also began to think positive all the time. With the positivity, I was able to achieve greatness and follow my path towards success. With all the sports, clubs, interactions, and weekends in high school, I turned out to be the person I wanted the school to see me as. The student who will work to achieve anything in life. There were some things that I kept in the back of my mind. One of those things were that happiness does exist in everyone’s life.
