In many books, the reader may be able to relate to the main character, with struggles or challenges. In the realistic fiction novel, Flipped, by Wendelin Van Draanen, readers may be able to relate to some of the challenges characters face. Whether was with friends or huge tests, I had to learn to face them. Last year, I was very stresses with school work. At one point, we had about three projects and essays at once, and I didn’t think I’d be able to do it all. But I was able to push through and finish everything. Another challenge I’ve had to face is sleeping. In the past couple of years, I’ve been getting less and less sleep. One time, in one class, I almost fell asleep! But as I got to know them better, I realized that they might not be the best person. So, as hard as it was, I stopped hanging out with them, and I believe it was the right thing to do. All in all, the challenges I’ve had to face throughout school will help me along the way. While I know there will be more to come, this time I’ll be prepared. Both Bryce Loski and I face challenges, whether it’s seeing people’s true selves or stress in school. Throughout our lives, we learn to get past these challenges, similar to characters in books. Hopefully, we as people will learn to face these challenges and we will be able to learn from

This semester has been a very difficult, stressful, and challenging for me . High School can not compare the amount of stress I had to face in this fall semester at Hostos Community College. However, it is like that with many other students because making a transition is frightening and many of us find a way to run away from it. Everything in life is a challenge and it is scary as well, but for those who want to study it all starts of with college.
