Core Values The core values that I use every day are respect for those who are different. We as human beings need to realize that we should respect those around us. She wanted to ensure me that I would be safe coming back to campus. She also believed that the resident assistant in question wanted to hurt me. The explanation as to why this student filed the report is as follow: the resident director that was over her was about to leave. The position was up for grabs, and up to that point I had been an active and productive member of residence life.
This student found out what was going on and she did not want to work for someone who was a “fag***”. She believed that if she discredited my character that residence life would not allow me to be her boss. This is when she decided to file a false report. But unfortunately, we could not get anyone to testify to this fact. Everyone wanted to keep quiet and not say anything. This very moment right here is what lead to me believe in my voice. I want to stick up for those who face trouble every day. Whether it is a rape victim or someone who has face discrimination. Facing this in the world can be very harsh.
