Introduction
I was back in training again, as a Master Coach, and attending the quarterly workshop. As I arrived early, at the hotel venue, I was greeted by the trainer for the day and made to feel very relaxed. I was introduced to the others who were attending and we socialised. As we waited, I wondered where are the other colleagues? Just after 11am, we were shown into the room the training was taking place in. It was then I realised we were having an intimate training session. I counted the chairs. 16.
I thought to myself, although several hundreds of people had attended the previous training with these same trainers only a few of us had taken the step to move onto the next level. We had become a masterclass- the minority.

Three out of 15. I realised that I was a minority of the minority. I was one of the 20% instead of the 80%.

What is an affirmation?
An affirmation is you speaking aloud, your subconscious thoughts. They are used to build positive thoughts, by using positive speech, which results in positive actions. For my daily affirmation, I start by addressing the higher power I believe controls my life. For others they address the universal force. I then say what burdens I want to remove from my life. For me, these burdens were:
1. The fear of returning to my comfort zone, I had left behind when I decided to have a career change.
2. The fear I do not have the skills inside of me, to be successful.
3. The fear I would not fit in, the new circles of influence I was now an integral part of.
The latter part of the affirmation, allowed me to say what I wanted to replace these fears with. This has been the most powerful part of me using affirmations. I have seen doors open for me, I would never have dreamt of - like being a television presenter. I am also attracting people towards me like a magnet attracts metal. These people are helping me to take my business to another

They have passion for what they are doing. You can hear and see this in most of the conversations they are having. Any opportunity they have, they share what new things are happening with them to reach their goals. They have a positive mind-set. They are always looking for ways to better themselves and they concentrate on the small details. With all of the learning they are doing, they put the training into practice.
