Appreciative to have taken English 028, with Professor S. Lyons-Burns, as she has introduced myself to an innovative course, which significantly enriched my aspect of writing. This class was very helpful in revitalizing all the skills I have forgotten over the years, and greatly improved my writing aptitudes. Presented with diverse concepts that I wasn’t able to attain during my high school days; I was offered such skills that partake in the establishment of my writing practices to a college level. Although, taking online classes are considerable more perplexing than face to face attendance, I admired her comprehensive lectures as well as videos that assisted with the completion of assignments. Frequently, I found it problematic to permit enough time to work on assignments, resulting in barley missing deadlines. Imperative to studying on-line classes, one must utterly become dedicated to studying and completing work, to receive a good grade. This was my principal struggle, learning how to balance work, school, family and personal time. It often converted to chaos, but by Week 3, I was able to prioritize and schedule events accordingly. With this in mind, I formed a precise agenda to work solely on my essays, and as I began to integrate this new schedule, which abetted time to focus on the dynamics of my essay …show more content…
Without the acquaintance or struggles presented in this class, I would still be in the unchanged predicament existing at beginning of this class. Achieving assistance obtainable through the modules, and combining them into my writing was the utmost asset extended in this class. On the same token, the revision of drafts was also crucial to a successful paper. In addition, learning how to bestow time and balance my schedule converted into a necessity in finalizing work. Without this class, I wouldn’t have gained the essential skills in adaptation, contributing to enhancing of my writing development. This class proved well worth it, and I am tremendously obliged to have cultivated all knowledge
