I think the most important public policy issue my generation will have to face is gun control because it is a diverse issue that may not be addressed until my generation comes into effect. Now, let me be real with you. I am only 14. The closest thing I have to a real gun is a small BB gun that I got when I was 10. I keep it in my room because it makes me feel safer even though I know I can never actually do anything with it. I can understand why some people might want to have a gun with them when they go places, but I also understand why you would feel afraid.
