I am going to share a personal experience that I had with a child that has ADHD. Frank is about 16 years old now. He has a hard time controlling his emotions, he almost always got overly excited, he also has a hard time with talking and reading and had a difficult time paying attention, most of which is attributed to his ADHD. In schools there are about three to five percent of all students that have ADHD. Frank has a hard time paying attention to what is asked of him. He loves to make friends and is very friendly too. He has a hard time communicating because he does not have much of a vocabulary. It is hard to understand him because of his speech impediment.
