In the past, I would have turned in my paper attempting my best work, hoping I accomplished what the prompt asked for. This year however, our class requires students to turn in several drafts of our essay as practice to our final draft. For the first time in a long time, I had not only one pair of eyes looking over my paper, but some of my classmates as well, from examining, and checking over it. This brought little grammar issues in my writing that I had apparently skipped over the first time. No matter if you are an author or not, it always requires more than a single pair of eyes to check over writing to make sure it is correct. The writing process for this paper allowed me to come closer to my full potential, but also, the topic was perfect. That is what I hoped to gain from participating in class each day, and classmates around me sharing the knowledge sure helped me grow as a student. I hope to learn more from encouragement and intelligence from my family and friends. I thought I could only write about the sports subject, but with Pierce in class we learned many different political and societal views. I may still commit the occasional misspelling or grammatical errors, but I am a lot more confident as an all-around writer. The standard grew and grew out of control, but I was ready to face the challenge. Each topic became more advanced throughout the year to adapt us to the college level. So as a student I was ready to outburst my fullest potential on each sentence of every paragraph. Now, without expectation, I favorably fast forward ahead, so that I may apply whatever else writing has in store for
