Reflective Essay: Cognitive Strategies In Business Writing

Cognitive strategies in writing are broken into three sections, logos (logic), ethos (ethics .and credibility) and pathos (emotional appeal). In this assignment, I will review five of these strategies and give a brief description of each. The clarity of business writing is what allows your audience to know what you are talking about. If you writing is not clear, it cannot be followed. Clarity helps the reader to follow along and understand the message. I use this on a daily basis when sending emails to coworkers explaining the movement of personnel. The arrangement of business writing is the order in which the writing is laid out.
