I am applying back to college, because I am ready to regain the purpose and momentum in my life that I previously had. Just after my fall semester at the University of Missouri, I had completely “checked out” emotionally, I was exhausted physically and at that point, I couldn’t have been more adamant about ending my college career. My plan was to get an entry-level job and build my career solely off of experience. However, shortly after voluntarily withdrawing from the University of Missouri, I realized that work experience alone could not compensate for the value of a college degree, especially because I want to go to graduate school eventually. I knew that in order to pursue my high-minded ambitions, the logical decision was to go back to
