Reflective Essay On Grit

I appreciated listening to this podcast because grit is a distinct combination of passion, resilience, determination, and focus that allows my classmates and I maintain the discipline and optimism to persevere in our goals even if we face discomfort. I remember discussing grit in College Reading with Mrs. Garfield and my classmates some time ago at the end of the second quarter. Many of my classmates and I can be considered gritty because we tend to stick to our goals despite numerous setbacks and failures. She said “ I believe grit is an important quality that students should grow at a young age because it can help them conquer obstacles. One way parents and teachers could help kids cultivate grit is by encouraging them to never give up and to tell them to always try their best no matter what.
