In the past, I have helped out the homeless in Los Angeles, and I have given food to the homeless that do not have a shelter and a place to stay warm. Also being in the Health Career Academy I have had the privilege to be in the Emergency Room, and I was asked if I wanted to offer the families water, and I agreed. What made me feel good about myself was just by offering and giving the families water, and seeing them smile and saying thank you was an experience that made me realize that caring about others is very important even if you do not know them because everyone is human and goes through pain. My personal connection to a vivid future in the medical field is having the knowledge of what is best for the sick and having a good relationship with a patient. Also, race is just a color and no one should be discriminated or denied help especially when it is about their life possibly saved. One day I would love to help the community if I work hard and face the challenges through the obstacle to reach my goals and become a registered nurse. I think about my future constantly reminding myself that everything is possible. I will use this a reminder to let myself know when I encounter adversity I will learn from it and become successful. Once I accomplish my goals of becoming a nurse not only I will be proud of myself for being first
