Depending on who they were worshipping also depended on the temple they would built and the statue. Also the literature started out as an oral tradition passed down to generation and then in writing. Some would say that literature is also a form of art. Like a written expression of their life and beliefs. Greeks believed that the gods invented dancing. (Page 68, chapter two) Only selected people were about to dance and were given this gift by the gods. So they would be the ones to dance during rituals. The dance, architecture, and writing are go back to the culture belief in gods and goddess. Now we have the freedom to choose our religion and who we marry. We have the right to choose what we do with our life and that in general changing the way people make art as well as views it. Personally, art is something that should be admire for what it is. We are all different and have different experiences so art should be admired with an open mind.
