12/26/15 – Read reading assignment 7 text book. This chapter was very informative, I enjoyed reading it and found it useful in understanding my employee’s motivations. Employee motivations is critical to their happiness and performance. The process based theory’s gives good ideas for enhancing motivation. I have to say that as interesting as the text book reading was the Job Redesign for Expanded HIM Functions was very difficult to read, very boring and hard for me to get through. The dualism of class assignment’s. I read it today as well. Will try to get my assessment for written assignment 6 done as well.
12/27/15 – Finished my assessments for written assignment 6. Started researching websites for the discussion form. It not as easy as I thought to fine some management Trends.

12/29/15 – Re-read the text book and written assignment reading to prepare for the doing the written assignment. I just do not like the Expanded HIM functions reading. I just can’t get anything out of it. Started written assignment not going well.
12/30/15 – Struggled with written assignment. Could not extrapolate a good essay from the Job Redesign for Expanded HIM Functions. Turn in written assignment it was the worst job I have done on an essay. Put in as much time as the others just could not get it together.
12/31/15 – Finished Learning Journal. This was a difficult week for me several things happen at work that took a great deal of time and effort to correct. On top of that several things happened at home as well the combination created a great deal of stress. Time was a big issue as well. This definitely effected my performance in my class

Learning to write When I attended elementary school, part of the curriculum was penmanship. There was a certain segment of instruction dedicated to penmanship rather than writing. We were given large sheets of oat colored paper with three parallel lines widely spaced. The alphabets were used to print and write in cursive using the midpoint, and upper lines for capital letters. The handwriting grades were based on neatness and readability.…

To me, writing is just ok, nothing special. It definitely isn’t something I get excited about. My first formal writing class was in 6th grade, where we followed The Institute for Excellence in Writing’s curriculum. My fellow classmates and I mainly wrote short, 1-3 paragraph reports on various historical topics. I did well in these classes, I just never really enjoyed the process of writing.…

Being a first-generation college student is highly stringent. Your immediate family members have high standards and expectations they expect you to follow. Quitting is not an option, once you're in, you are in to finish, to graduate, to open new doors. The pressure is on you now, to set the example for the younger ones. I've come to the realization that I no longer have time for chores, watching television, or even spending quality time with my family.…

Upon my entry into English 1010-02, my first college writing class, I expected to breeze through the course with an easy-A and minimal effort after my successful completion of AP English 11 this past year. I began the year with the utmost confidence in my writing abilities, and believed that my skills were above par. It wasn’t until I received my score on the essay evaluation for my First-Week Essay- a measly five out of twenty- that I realized that this was not the case. At first, I was astonished that my seemingly exceptional writing skills had not earned me the A that I believed I deserved. However, as time went on I came to the realization that I had not put in nearly enough time or effort into the paper to receive more than a C at most.…

The second week came and my first assignment was due. It was to tell story, and I was grateful because I knew I had a story to tell. I wrote about the birth of my niece, which was anything but routine. I tried to write it in the same way that I always had, the way that wasn’t exactly to the level I should be at, but one I knew I was capable of. From this point on I knew I was locked in, which meant I would have a paper due every Wednesday from here on out.…

English 2010 has been a learning experience for me, I've been able to learn a lot about english that I did not know or work on before. With the first essay that we worked on I did a memoir I really enjoyed working on this paper, In class we were able to get freedom to add pictures to are pictures make it a little bit more creative I certainly was not used to this; I’ve been told my whole schooling experience that you have the intro and the conclusion and three body paragraphs. The memoir I was able to write to what I felt like I needed it to be, add pictures so it could appeal more to the eye when reading and also made it easier.…
