Last semester, I was offered the opportunity to fulfill my foundation practicum hours at Montevista Hospital as well as increase my professional knowledgebase. Throughout my journey at Montevista Hospital, I had the privilege of learning an immense amount of information about clinical social work from several senior licensed clinical social workers. I have been extremely hands-on in my efforts to add to my professional knowledgebase daily, by facilitating psychoeducational groups with adults, adolescents and pediatrics, attending weekly treatment team meetings and conducting supervised assessments as well as learning how to apply theory to practice as studied by Gentle-Genitty et al. (2014).
