Reflexivity in contrast, involves a more immediate dynamic and continuing self-awareness. (Schon, 1987). Reflection achieves some learning but learner is the same person afterwards. Reflexivity achieves learning but also leaves the learner changed as a result. So we could say that reflexivity is reflection plus self-change.
It's important to point out, though, that debate on reflexivity is rich and nuanced, and there are different ways of looking at it. Reflectivity and reflexivity can be seen as following along a continuum, with reflexivity occurring as a quite mature and somewhat rare form of reflection. Specifically regarding research, (Finlay,2002) notes how the move from reflection to self-reflective awareness involves shifting our understanding of data collection from something that can be accomplished with detached objectivity to recognizing we actively construct knowledge.
Reflexivity is a particular form of reflection, the question we ask when being reflexive is how are our methods implicated in the knowledge that we are producing? When we consider that our selves are among our research instruments, informing our methods and helping to construct what we know (Mauthner, 2003:37(3), …show more content…

But my company main challenge is production and time is an important factor and workers have to be committed to the time frame production in this case the reflexive practice is more suitable. The company gives every year prices to the best employee and the main criteria is speed in the production, it means they are looking for employee that can improve their work without reducing the rate of
