Reflective Analysis Case Report Component Paper
Worldview is responsible for how we think and how we make decisions on a daily basis. It is a “set of assumptions, presuppositions, unconsciously held but affect how we think and live” (Cosgrove, 2006, p. 20). It is imperative to understand that every person have their own worldview. Worldviews vary from culture to culture, and religious beliefs. For one to not recognize that the worldview of others differ from one’s own beliefs opens oneself up to discrimination against others.
This paper is a reflective analysis case report about my worldview which would highlight answers to the following questions: 1) What is your central belief about the individual person?, 2) How does your personal worldview influence your approach to patients?, 3) What constitutes the environment?, 4) How do the individual and the environment interact?, 5) What is your view of health?, 6) How does illness relate to health?, 7) What is the central reason for the existence of nursing? (“GCU Reflective Paper, 2015”).

I believe that every individual is unique in their own way and that we are all created equal in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, an individual person, regardless of race, or ethnicity has equal rights to live a life free from discrimination, and biases.
