Dr. Meredith Belbin is well known for his team roles concept. The team roles identified by Belbin are based on certain patterns of behaviour that people exhibit within teams. These patterns of behaviour can potentially have an impact on the performance of the team. The basic premise of the Belbin team roles theory is quite simple.
When individuals become aware of their own strengths and abilities, and understand the role that he or she is capable of playing within a team, it helps them to deal better with the demands of the team environment. 24th Nov 2010.

There was June the “Resource Investigator”. She liaised with members of the community to see what kind of Drama they would like to go to see, she ensured that our ideas could be carried to the world outside the team....the audience. Example: She took her camcorder to the local Senior Citizens Clubs and interviewed the “Old Aged Pensioners” about types of plays they would most likely go and see i.e. situational comedy, serious drama or musicals. She brought this back to the group so the rest of the team could see firsthand what the most senior members of the community wanted and then implement same.

We also had Liam the “Completer”, he insured that everything went as we had planned.
He scrutinised the script for inaccuracies and/or contradictions and all in all was like a Quality Control Manager. Example he pointed out that we were calling Willy O’Dea the minister for defence when he had actually resigned from that position.

The rest of the team Jean, Philip Bernie, Noel and Lisa could be described as Team workers. They were the ones that ensured that everything that was meant to happen did. They were
