There was a fundamental question raised in the first lecture of OB “Why a man behaves the way he does?” and taking this course helped me in getting closer to the probable answers.
Understanding someone's behaviour is important because studying past behaviour patterns of humans in a given situation helps anticipate future behaviour in a similar situation. This becomes all the more important from an organizations perspective given the need to anticipate future and plan accordingly.
But that is still far away and presently I am here in XLRI purely to learn and grow.

At that time, I believed that the success of my career was going to be totally dependent on my individual work effort and results. And, while that was certainly true for the first few years in my life, that was not what I saw immediately after.
