How did I apply the Design Thinking tools and what was the impact on my project? (50 marks)
Design thinking is a combined tool of various resources to come up with solutions for problems. It is made up of four stages which are sense and sensibility, empathy, …show more content…
As mentioned above, Zhe Wei helped us girls from the optometry in explaining about what was design thinking was and how to utilize POEMS as he already learnt about design thinking in his diploma in year one. This enabled us work on for project more effectively. If we did understand anything, we would ask him and he would not hesitate to explaining it to us in depth. Likewise, if Zhe Wei asked anything about eye care and eye diseases, we will explain it to him. This exchange of knowledge enabled us get exposed to a variety of content, and to think out of the …show more content…
Nicole is the most vocal person in our team. She is not does not hesitate in sharing her views. Also, she always comes up with lots of ideas for the project. Shin Wen is the most creative person in our team. She was contributed a lot in the creation of the persona. Also, she came up with a lot interesting ideas for the prototype. I have to give a lot of credit to Zhe Wei as he was the only person in my team from a different diploma and also the only guy in my team. Despite that, he is always contributing ideas and open with his opinions on the project. He was a great help in in the design thinking process as he helped us in understanding the design thinking tool as mentioned above. Also, whenever we had queries about the design thinking tools, he would explains and enlightens us how to utilize the design thinking tools and always made sure we understood it completely. Thus, Zhe Wei was a great help and asset to our team and really appreciate his help for the team. Nicole, Shin Wen and myself also made sure that Zhe Wei did not felt left out in the process. We always asked him his opinion in every step we did in the project. Thus, we were mindful of each other. Overall, we were able to bond really well as a team. Without our team effort, we would not have done so much in the
