ACTUAL TEACHING EXPERIENCES

Day 1
It was a dream, a dream come true. I was really excited and at the same time nervous. It was the reality being in my pre-service training, new faces, new environment and a lot of experiences to develop myself and my teaching skills.
This is the day that I first met my cooperating teacher. She is Ms. Mary Kristelin joie C. Esmen. She is beautiful, still young and I feel that she is kind. At first, she wants me to feel comfortable with her. She gave me pieces of advice and some teaching resources that can be useful for me. She talks to me every minute so that there's no reason to be shy. She gave me a tour in her class. She handled four different classes a day, but she only gave me her afternoon class.
Below was the schedule given to me by

This was the day I take charged of teaching the students. When I arrived in the school, I went to the room of Mrs. Mary and let her checked my lesson plan. Since I am familiar with the format because it's just like the format of CvSU-Silang, I am not having hard time to make my lesson plan.
After my cooperating teacher checked my lesson plan, I went to the classroom to start my day by teaching, it was normal to feel nervous that time but instead I felt really excited.
Day 8
It's another day for teaching, I was so nervous because I dont know what my students will say about my way of teaching. I have and I knew it was just normal. I am aware of my own weaknesses. I must improve the modulation of my voice and practice proper time management. I found it hard to make my voice louder, because when Im trying, it looks like I'm shouting. I felt pain in my throat whenever I tried to shout just for the students to hear my voice .
It was a new topic and it was about solving algebraic expression by elimination method. I had prepared an activity that will motivated them. So far, I have no problem because they understood and get the steps on how to use the elimination method.

I was introduced to the multi-faceted world of teaching, classroom management, lesson planning, and assessing students. I truly appreciate all the work my teachers and professors have done for me so much more now that I have been 'on the other side ' of it all. Being able to pass on knowledge to others is the most rewarding experience I have ever had and I 'm certain that I will continue to use the skills I have learned through teaching music and piano for years to…

Because of the upcoming science STTAR, my observation of Ms. de la Fuente’s fifth grade class this week was a little different than usual. The teachers switched classes from lunch until one thirty to better prepare the students for the test. In this way, they would learn the information through different teaching styles. This week’s task was about advice on the teaching profession. Some good advice was to stay organized and keep the students engaged.…

When I talked to Megan, she told me about her experience with switching schools. She thought she would be unhappy with the switch at first, in fact, she was worried about her friends and whether west would actually be better. Megan was very nervous but ultimately decided that switching would be better than her previous situation. Like Megan, I felt worried about my first day at middle school. I knew nobody, most of the people from my elementary school went to Horning and my best friend was going to attend Butler.…

My first leadership experience came from being a voluntary work as a life- and management skills trainer, where I had to deal with different background, minds and studies trainees, to be the leader of my own session, the thing that let me build my communication, discussion and presentation skills. During this period I have met so many people with various way of thinking, where I succeed dealing with them each time. After that I started working as assistant supervisor in a psychological support centre for the international medical corps, where I had the chance to deal with very professional and creative people, the hardest thing was being accepted as the youngest member of the team and to be known as a leader , but being in this atmosphere…

Based on data I collected from coach observations, peer observations, and feedback I decided to focus on OETF indicator 1.B.1: Plans meaningful tasks that require student ownership. Upon determining that indicator and creating a teacher practice goal based on the data I collected, I began to further breakdown my observation feedback and use that as a baseline level. I noticed from my initial feedback that all of my students were not engaging in the task completely. I felt as though I could better support my students as I want them to all feel successful. In order to do that I worked with my coach and reflected on my task and how it could be adapted in the planning stage to be more meaningful.…

Reflection About Classroom Teaching Experience Being an educator is a challenge and a new learning experience each time. As an educator, I am entrusted with the responsibility of shaping the way students think and feel in the classroom. I have always wanted to be an educator and share my experiences with the new generation of nurses. When I was assigned to work with professor Lynette Rayman to do my classroom teaching experience, I was thrilled because the topic I chose was chronic kidney disease which also happens to be my area of expertise. I had to incorporate my previous learning experiences to make my presentation lively.…
