The field trip would take students to go around kg Ayer as it would pass along the Brunei River which the villages can be seen, this is due to the location between Jong Batu and Lumut Lunting is too far from each other. Having to see the water villages, schools, water taxis, the people who lives in the water villages or even the old rotten house would trigger students’ interests to ask questions about their lifestyles, customs and practices. Particularly, it could help them visualize how trading activities happened back to thousands years …show more content…

Ride Along During and after my experience, I realized how similar and accurate the material learned in class was to what police officer experience in a typical day. I was able to participate in the Fullerton police ride along program, on April 8th from 10am-6pm, under Officer Lopez’s shift. Have you ever heard of a tap tap? Three summers ago, I discovered a tap tap not just a nickname for banging a pencil on a deck, but a kind of taxi in Haiti. They are called tap taps because the passengers will signal the driver to stop or go by simply tapping on the back of the truck. I learned this fact on a mission trip to Haiti three summers ago. The trip was a very eye opening experience where I learned that I have many things to be thankful for.…

Before my three week block, one of my PDP goal was to improve my classroom management and time management. For first two weeks, I have been working on these two areas because I did not feel confident in managing the classroom without my co-op teacher there in the kindergarten room. I learned that when I was planning my lesson, I had to think about what time I am teaching and how they are going to respond to my lesson. Since my kindergarten class had strict routine, for first few days, I did not get their full attention because my lesson occurred during their centre time. Throughout my lesson, they would ask when they are going to have centre time, and did not put much effort into their task was one of the things I had to think about as I was…
