There did not seem to be a pattern as to when I thought about each thing much it seemed to be more random. I did however notice that towards the afternoon I tended to think more about my plans and school work. I believe this occurred because I normally make plans to do things later in the day and I also do better at working on school work in the early morning or in the late afternoon. I was happy that my friends and my family seemed to cross my min pretty consistently. I have always felt a strongly about how important family is and I was pleased to see it reintegrated into my thoughts. I was surprised to see that school work was prominent in my thoughts throughout the four days. I used to always be on top of my school working doing it weeks in advanced, but the last few semesters I have noticed a lack in my efforts and that I am normally just finishing up with an assignment within hours of the time it is due. I feel like my ability to multitask is satisfactory and this shows that my cognitive processing abilities are good as well because they deal with remembering things, problem-solving, and paying attention. The ways I could improve these abilities would to focus on improving my ability to pay attention. I often find that all it takes is one small thing that can make me lose focus and get side tracked. If I was able to improve this ability by redirecting myself anytime I feel like I am not paying attention I should be able to improve it. I know that I will find no success in fixing it if I let myself continue to get side tracked and fail to refocus my

In the beginning of high school, I couldn’t understand the importance of handling my responsibilities, especially when it came to my school work. I just couldn’t find the motivation to hand in stuff like homework on time. I actually started to do less and less each school year. I never try to fix my problem because there were never any consequences to it. I would pass all my classes with decent grades with no problems despite ignoring a lot of the work, but then I was called by my English teacher to stay after class.…

I wasn't excited because I knew it was just another event for families and it was going to be packed in that gym. As I reluctantly marched in with my classmates I saw my parents and brother sitting in the seats taking pictures and smiling, while everyone else had people yelling every way to look at them I could focus on the three most important people in my life. It was then I realized how fortunate I was, I got to have a great life in a beautiful state with my family. It wasn't chaotic most of the time because there was so many of us, we could do so much more with it just being us, and through this my parents taught me that while it may be hard being on your own it's worth it. Not knowing anyone also made me a more outgoing person because I had to meet everyone and make new friends, most of my classmates already knew people because they're all related, but I got to know everyone in a different way.…

Briefly describe your final feelings on the weekend’s work now that it is over: I feel that this was a good class weekend. I thought I learned valuable information from my group, from my other classmates, and from my professor. I thought meeting with our group for the first night and figure out our roles was a great way to start the night. I felt playing Cards against Humanity was a good way to do group bonding. I felt the group discussion over patron-driven collection development was good to understand where we each stood on our ideas or our systems ideas of collection development and policy.…

I see the vicious circle that Freudenmann talks about in my work place, I work at Jr. High school. Many of teachers have established images of students which are good and bad. Some students are in the in-house everyday, but according to these students, they did not do anything and the teachers get upset just because they do not like them. I think that every person deserves a fresh start; not been judged because of the past. We need to have a fresh start every day and need to pay close attention to our thoughts: are our attitude and responses affected by the past experiences?…

Today my parents asked me how school went. I wanted to respond with "Horrible, I never want to go back", but it's only one week since I've started the 10th grade. Therefore, I responded with the same "fine" I have been responding with since 7th grade. To be honest, I sometimes make it seem worse than it is. I could actually try to be positive, smile while I walk down the halls, laugh at unamusing jokes, seem like I actually want to be there with everyone else.…
